Part-Time Personal Trainer – Studio ME Fitness | Northeast MinneapolisWe're not a big box gym. We specialize in 1-on-1 and semi-private training for adults who are done with the hamster wheel and ready to build something that actually lasts.We're looking for a part-time trainer who gets that — someone who shows up prepared, coaches with intention, and genuinely cares about the people in front of them.What You'll DoLead 1-on-1, semi-private, and small group training sessions — reading the room, meeting clients where they are, and programming with purposeConduct Initial Fitness Assessments and Quarterly Goal Check-ins so clients always know where they stand and where they're headedDesign and deliver individualized programs that account for each client's history, goals, and life outside the gymCoach proper movement and technique every session — not just when someone's brand newContribute to a client retention culture (we aim for less than 3% churn — that's not an accident)Support new client consults and help qualify prospective members when neededShow up for monthly staff meetings and continuing education — we take professional growth seriously around hereHandle client concerns with the same care you'd want if you were on the other sideWhat We're Looking ForCurrent PT certification through ACE, NASM, AFAA, ACSM, or similar — or the drive to obtain one within 3 months of hireCurrent CPR/AED certification (or same 3-month window)1+ year of experience coaching clients, ideally with some small group or semi-private backgroundA degree in an exercise-related field is a bonus, not a dealbreakerSomeone who can confidently train all fitness levels — beginners to athletes — and actually enjoys the varietyStrong communicator who can connect with a 38-year-old coming back from injury and a 55-year-old training for their first 5K in the same afternoonComfortable with change, detail-oriented, and self-motivated enough to work in a small team environmentAble to safely lift and move up to 40 lbsWhy Studio MEWe're a tight-knit team in a studio that punches above its weight.
