SonSoft Inc is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionCodes and performs unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirementsCodes, tests, and debugs new software or makes enhancements to existing softwareWrites programs according to specifications from higher level staff or business analystsDevelops technical documentationResolves in a timely manner problems that arise with existing production applications to ensure the efficient and proper functioning of application componentsCollaborates with technical staff to learn and understand software problemsGenerates a variety of complex and periodic reports and/or data through database management, data administration and data extraction techniquesProvides general system users and management with system analysis and feedbackInfluences system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancementsMentors and coaches less experienced staffMaximizes the efficiency of the various software systems by implementing, monitoring, testing and auditing new software programsAnalyzes and resolves computer related problems by coordinating with in‐house personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulty, as well as consulting, advising and training on specialized features and functionsFollows established configuration/change control processesDaily Tasks PerformedResponsible for mobile app developmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship newfeaturesBuild and publish applications in app storesWork closely with project team on mobile and in-vehicle testingWork on defect bug fixing and maximize application performanceWants:-At least one app in the Apple iTunes store (send link along with resume)Must supply live examples; Full development lifecycle experience (e.g. requirements gathering, producing design docs, test plans, code reviews, etc.)Experience building iOS apps from scratch utilizing standard SDK techniques (e.g. Activities, Fragments, Intents, Layouts, etc.);Experience creating custom UI elements, UI animation techniques and creating a rich, interactive UX on iOsFluency in and a deep knowledge of C, iPhone SDK, Interface Builder,Objective-C, CocoaTouch, Apple Notification Gateway and iOS programmingExperience with JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, XML and interfacing iPhone/iPad applications to server side services through RESTStrong background in mobile design patterns, web and native mobile apps with iOS, HTML, JavaScript and Cross Platform Mobile Development techniques is a plus; HTML5/CSS/JSQualificationsMustsBA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field orequivalent work experienceExperience with Objective-C and iOS SDKExperience developing mobile apps (both HTML5 & Native)Good working knowledge in Cocoa TouchExperience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, CoreAnimation, CoreGraphics and Core TextBusiness Experience:-5 plus years experience with major DBMS5 plus years experience with coding, testing, and design5 plus years experience with software development methodologiesAdditional Information** U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply.
