Apply today and discover your opportunity to grow with us.Position OverviewAs the Sr. Financial Analyst – Operations at our Denmark campus, you’ll have the chance to collaborate closely with our facility leadership teams, who are all about member development, manufacturing excellence, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who can bring their product costing expertise and leadership skills to the table, helping to spot key financial opportunities and lead impactful improvement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with all levels at the plant, including the core leadership team, team leaders and operations membersLive the Johnsonville Way by getting everyone involved to meet business goals; be a role model and coach to help them succeedTurn data into valuable insights; help explain the "what" (the facts), "why" (the drivers and trends), "so what" (ask thoughtful questions and use relationships to drive improvement), and "what’s next" (next steps)Help create simple, clear dashboards and turn numbers into a meaningful message; connect that message to themes people can easily relate to and understand.Help with forecasting and the annual budgeting process for the Denmark campus and ensure that the facility processes are streamlined and align with overall company processesAssist in ensuring that the facility cost savings pipelines meet expectations for current and future yearsPartner with the Plant Controller to assess new business opportunities; help provide insights on proposed capital projects (like IRR, cost savings, and post-mortems) and productivity projects (focused on continuous improvement).Identify best practices and collaborate with the Plant Controller to roll them out across the networkSupport the development of procedures and controls to ensure accurate product costs and reliable inventory managementEducation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, requiredExperienceFive (5) years of cost accounting and analytics experience, requiredAnalytical experience in a manufacturing, food or consumer packaged goods environment, strongly preferredCMA is a plusExperience working with and/or creating meaningful operational reports and guiding operations members on how to understand and use financial dataLeadership experience is a plusSkillsGreat at communicating and making financial information easy to understandStrong computer skills (Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and if you've worked with SAP, that's a plus!Skilled at analyzing data, spotting trends, and coming up with action plans or recommendations Other RequirementsBenefits and CompensationFull-time Partners at Salm have access to a wide range of benefits designed to support their well-being and future.
