Job Title: Design and Analysis Engineer 2 (Network Systems)Location: Everett, WA (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Contract Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Pay: $60/hr-62/hr.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 2 to support software development and system integration for network systems. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions while supporting aircraft systems from concept through certification and production lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements Design software and interface specifications for network systems Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define system architectures and requirements Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional compliance Support aircraft system integration, installation, and certification activities Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fielded software across the product lifecycle Create and maintain configuration matrices for customer architectures and system setups Develop scripts (e.g., Python) to automate testing and analysis processes Support engineering releases for airplane configuration and options Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with system requirements Research and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSupport 787 production and factory operations for network systems software Manage software configuration, build, and release processes Review technical documentation and identify potential issues Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (or related field) 1–3 years of software engineering experience Understanding of software development lifecycle and documentation practices Ability to identify and resolve technical issues Preferred QualificationsExperience with Python scripting Familiarity with ENOVIA PDM or similar tools Exposure to aerospace systems or network systems design
