People Operations Manager (HR)
We’re seeking a hands-on HR leader who can build strong hiring and onboarding processes while supporting a high-performance, team-oriented culture. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused environment where strong relationships and clear processes are key.This is a hands-on role—you’ll both manage and improve systems that help the business grow and perform.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & HiringManage full-cycle recruiting across office and field rolesPartner with leaders to define hiring needsImprove job descriptions, interview processes, and selection toolsEnsure a smooth and professional candidate experienceOnboarding & New Hire ExperienceOwn and enhance the onboarding processEnsure new hires are fully prepared from day oneAlign managers and employees on expectationsTrack onboarding progress and early performanceEmployee DevelopmentHelp define role expectations and performance standardsSupport training and development initiativesProvide tools for coaching and employee growthAssist with career path developmentHR Operations & SupportServe as the main HR contact for employees and managersSupport employee relations and performance conversationsMaintain accurate records and ensure complianceKeep HR practices consistent across all locationsCulture & Leadership SupportReinforce a culture of accountability and growthSupport performance management and feedback processesIdentify ways to improve engagement and retentionAct as a trusted advisor to leadershipWhat Success Looks LikeRoles are filled quickly with the right candidatesNew hires ramp up faster and understand expectationsManagers feel supported and alignedHR processes are clear, consistent, and effectiveEmployees experience fairness across all locationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of progressive HR experience (multi-site or construction environment preferred)Strong recruiting and onboarding experience (hourly and professional roles)Solid knowledge of employee relations and HR complianceExcellent communication, organization, and follow-through skillsHR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
