Our Application Engineers bridge deep mechanical expertise with strong customer-facing communication. This role requires a balance of technical aptitude and brand ambassadorship — engaging customers, supporting product installations, and delivering exceptional pre- and post-sale service. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, this position requires advanced understanding in mechanical and electrical engineering.About Sentek DynamicsSentek Dynamics focuses on turn-key environmental testing solutions for local, domestic and international customers. Our target customers include aerospace, automotive, defense, electronics, energy and medical device manufacturers. Our products include a comprehensive line of vibration testing systems and temperature/humidity chambers designed to meet today's demanding test requirements.Job DutiesDesign vibration test fixtures and analyze mechanical and electrical hardware for harsh environments, including dynamic and thermal conditionsPrepare test plans and execute tests on thermal chambers, hydraulic shakers, and electrodynamic shakersAssist with the design and integration of servo control systemsPrepare technical proposals, reports, system drawings, and installation documentation in alignment with project milestones and delivery schedulesProvide pre- and post-sale technical support, including new product installations and ongoing support for existing installationsAttend product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations to prospective customers via web and on-site, as requiredEngage with customers to understand their needs and identify appropriate solutions within the Sentek Dynamics product portfolioServe as an internal product expert and cross-functional resourceCollaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targetsTravel up to 25%RequirementsB.S. or M.S. in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field3–5 years of relevant experience preferredStrong hands-on mechanical skills requiredProficiency in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS, or equivalent CAD softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProfessional, personable, and customer-ready demeanorVibration testing experience a plus, but not requiredAvailable to begin full-time employment immediatelyWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation package including base salary, performance bonus, and benefits.Please note: We are unable to sponsor H1-B Visa's at this time for this positionJob Type: Full-Time | Work Location: In-Person
