Our leadership is not across the country, but rather in your backyard.Job Description:REHABILITATION TECH/CNAReports to: Rehabilitation DirectorGeneral PurposePerforms routine treatments and other therapy support activities as directed by the Rehabilitation Director and/or supervising therapist; provides administrative support including recordkeeping, maintenance of files, reports and monthly billing information; and general office duties as directed by the RC.QualificationsMust be a CNACompletion of secondary education (high school)Good communication skillsSelf motivatedEssential Job Responsibilities· Supports and /or stabilizes patients to assist the therapist during treatment, tests and evaluations· Assists licensed therapists or assistants during administration of non-skilled treatment as directed· Safeguards, motivates and assists patients practicing exercisers, functional activities and gait training· Transports residents to and from the therapy area· Assists in maintaining therapy area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.· Performs miscellaneous clerical duties as directed by the Rehabilitation Director including sorting and distributing in-coming and out-going mail, recordkeeping, obtaining appropriate signatures on required records, answering telephone, taking and delivering messages· Prepares weekly and monthly billing as directed by the Rehabilitation Director· Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports; admission and discharge records; evaluation/documentation packetsPhysical RequirementsGood physical and mental health. Frequent standing and walking during work periods. Turning, stooping, bending, stretching, crouching, pushing/pulling, hand/eye coordination and lifting may be involved in treatments of residents. Visual and hearing acuity to detect changes in residents' conditions and respond to pages. Ability to communicate with residents, families, staff, co-workers, medical personnel, regulatory agencies and consultants.Other Job FunctionsAttends all mandatory in-services.
