Position Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Coverage: Nights and some days Shift Details: 7 AM - 7 PM OR 7 PM - 7 AM Typical Schedule: Average of one to two shifts per month, with potential to block three shifts if travel is required Support Staff: Physicians available on-site Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts with no call responsibilities Work Details: EMR/Charting Software: Epic Vaccine Requirements: Flu vaccine mandatory during flu season (no COVID vaccine mandate) Average Daily Census: Maximum 14 patients, with an average of 10 Patient Age Group: Adults ICU Setting: Open ICU, but functions like a closed ICU Total Beds: 150 Required Procedures: Lines: Central, Arterial Intubations Bronchoscopies Airway Management Credentialing & Certification: Board Certification: Required in Pulmonary Critical Care State License: Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina state license Willing to License: Yes Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, ENLS DEA License: Required Experience: Must be an experienced critical care APP proficient in procedures and ICU patient care This locum tenens role provides an opportunity to work closely with a supportive team in a critical care environment.
