At Sour Tech, precision and excellence are our top priorities.What We Are Looking For:Sour Tech is seeking a full-time Repair Technician to join our team. A Repair Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of devices, including phones, tablets, computers, consoles, and other small electronics.What We Offer:• A starting rate of $12 per hour, with a pay increase to $15 after training completion• Paid lunch daily• Casual dress• Free on-site parking• Employee discounts on select services and products• Opportunity for internal career growth• Development and coaching opportunities to build technical skills and knowledgeJob Duties:• Diagnose device issues• Update and modify repair tickets as a device moves through the repair process• Communicate with customers and team members on the progress of repair tickets• Diagnose and resolve customer tech questions and problems• Maintain a professional demeanor at work• Intake arriving inventory and organize as needed.• Consult necessary manuals or guides to research solutions• Study training materials and follow guides to perform tasks with varied difficultiesRequirements:• Attention to detail• Willingness to adhere to our thorough repair guidelines• Ability to problem-solve with patience • Ability to communicate issues and procedures to customers in an effective and understandable way• Motivation to find solutions to technical problems• Knowledge of iPhones, Samsung, and other smartphones; as well as tech in general• A background in electronic repair or similar technical fields is an asset, but not required• Intake arriving inventory and organize as needed• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken and written English with customers and other team membersStore Hours of Operation• 10 AM to 7 PM Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM SaturdaysSchedule:• 6 - 8 hour shiftsAbility to commute/relocate:• College Station, TX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)For more information on Sour Tech, visit our website at: www.SourAppleRepair.com
