Owner/Operator - Courier Delivery Driver

Pace is seeking a courier delivery driver who is an independent contractor with their own sedan to cover a dedicated run Monday-Friday in our Meridian, MS market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes! We are seeking a professional courier delivery driver to cover a medical lane that runs daily during the week. It's a single stop pickup with the freight being immediately taken to a large delivery provider afterwards. There are 3 other pickups that could be added on any day during the week (on-call pickups) and the driver will be notified of those the day of. They are all within a few minutes of the scheduled primary pickup location and add minimal time/mileage. The entire route should take no longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete if all pickups are needed. Normal route without the on-call stops should only take around 1 hour daily to complete. Please note, this is a NO FAIL route; you must be able to run this on time daily M-F. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. There will be additional testing required that takes place after onboarding to be approved to run for this customer. Key Responsibilities for Contracted Courier Drivers:Pick up small parcels/packages and deliver to designated locations Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries. Maintain required insurance. Fulfill customer delivery requirements and specifications Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
