Software Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Systems Engineer to support infrastructure engineering, DevOps automation, and platform operations initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and OpenShift/Kubernetes, with hands-on experience managing hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD and GitOps workflows, observability, and secure platform operations in a regulated enterprise environment.Requirements5–8+ years of experience in software systems engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC/automation platformsStrong experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administrationExperience supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environmentsHands-on experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, or GitLabProficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scriptingExperience with observability tools including Prometheus and GrafanaStrong understanding of RBAC, SSO, and secrets managementKnowledge of networking, storage, DNS, and infrastructure servicesExperience in utility or regulated industries preferredUSC or GC onlyResponsibilitiesDesign and automate infrastructure provisioning using TerraformManage configuration and deployment workflows using AnsibleAdminister and support OpenShift/Kubernetes container platformsBuild and maintain CI/CD and GitOps automation pipelinesEnsure consistency across cloud and on-prem infrastructure environmentsMonitor infrastructure and platform health using Prometheus and GrafanaTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and container platform issuesImplement security controls including RBAC and secrets managementCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve automation workflowsSupport full-stack infrastructure and platform operations initiatives
