Corporate Sales Manager
CORPORATE SALES MANAGER:Tailwater Lodge Altmar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton; a Woodbine Hospitality property, has an opening for an energetic and knowledgeable Corporate Sales Manager to join its Sales Team! The Corporate Sales Manager will sell and provide services to corporate groups, including creating contracts and working with Operating Departments to coordinate group logistics when on property. Develops strategy for and initiates potential business account interest, solicits and negotiates contracts for hotel business for a specific assigned market(s).Requirements: Solicits account leads from group meeting/event planners and decision makers for cultivation and development. Develops sales plan and strategy to meet or exceed room night and other revenue goals.Maintain positive client and guest relations and be their point of contact for event inquiries.Represents the hotel with prospective customers to provide necessary information on hotel facilities and services and to determine levels of interest.Engages with the Tourism and Chamber organizations in our key markets to develop relationships and partners to ensure we receive our share of leads.Travel will be required for Sales Blitzes, Industry Events, Trade Shows and regular Sales Calls. Manages and negotiates account details and contracts so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.Communicates and plans for operating department’s full participation in servicing accounts.Using creativity and the unique property offerings, develop custom itineraries and experiences for each prospective client and submit formal sales proposals to them.Lead on-site tours, entertain customers, and perform outside sales calls to develop leads.Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skillsThree to five years’ experience in hospitality sales, strong self-direction and able to prospect.Superior leadership-building skills and able to effectively network and represent the property in business settings. Prior hotel experience in hospitality sales, conference planning or convention skills.
