This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. * Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. * Upsell menu items, wine selections, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. * Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments securely through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. * Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest comfort throughout their visit. *Qualifications* * Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is highly preferred. * Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. * Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and food handling procedures. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. * Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service. * Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. * Experience in food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques. * Outstanding communication skills with a focus on guest relations and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
