You belong here!About the role:As an Account Manager, you will own and manage your book of business by maintaining and growing relationships with existing client business and maximizing upsell opportunities for our ClearanceJobs segments who specialize in hiring technical professionals. It's vital to the growth of our business.In the short term you will:Go through ClearanceJobs onboarding training:Learn about the ClearanceJobs Platform, Salesforce, ChurnZero and additional resources to help you with managing your accounts.Introduce yourself and establish a cadence with your clientsCreate and conduct business reviews with your clientsSend newsletters and other communications to your clientsMaintain your monthly and long-term renewals of current client contracts by selling new products and services to active clientsEstablish and cultivate key relationships via telephone and through web meetingsContact assigned accounts to maintain and generate continued sales of Dice servicesAttain established goals set by self and direct managerIn the long term you will:Conduct business reviews with assigned active accountsIdentify growth strategies and campaigns within your book that will help hit the revenue goals assigned.Build relationships with your book of business, identifying growth opportunities.What you bring to the team:Required:Proven Account Management experience with an ability to sell solutions to customersProficient in negotiating contracts, objection handling, strategic thinking, networking skillsHistory of achieving/exceeding sales goalsAbility to work in a team atmosphereExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and time management skillsDetail-orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced account management sales environmentSelf-starter, ability to work independently and in a teamStrong knowledge Microsoft Office products and experience with a CRM systemPreferred:* Experience selling in the government industry and space* Minimal travel, however, willing to travel when necessary for key account meetings or eventsDes Moines pay range: Base salary/pay plus commissions per year at 100% of plan targets.
