Warehouse Lead

Embrace a culture for safety, including injury and accident prevention by following safety policies and procedures Maintains daily warehouse workflow, including prioritization recommended by manager/cross functional team members Promotes and drives performance and accountability by ensuring all staff adhere to policies, procedures, and KPI goals within the department Embraces existing standard operating procedures and makes recommendations for improvements with partnership from the Operations Manager Maintains storage area(s) by organizing floor space and recommending improvements Ensure that all warehouse personnel adhere to policies and procedures, including attendance. Works closely and hands on with the team to drive optimal performance and efficiencies using KPIs created with partnership of the Operations Manager First point of contact for coaching conversations with staff as needs arise Supervises and assists with unloading all incoming freight shipments Maintains in depth knowledge of receiving software with the ability to research and answer questions as they arise from warehouse staff Works closely with the Administrative Team to organize the Purchase Order workflow and keep record of all orders currently awaiting processing Responsible for training all receiving staff Provides feedback around the teams performance and attendance, ensuring company policies are adhered to. Assists with year-end inventory and cycle counts Assist with all other related tasks or duties as assigned by the Operations Manager Ability to operate forklift equipment, manual pallet jacks and push carts to and from destination Strong computer skills a must Strong email communications skills a must Ability to be flexible and adaptable Strong problem-solving ability Willingness to learn Must come to work with a positive attitude and work as a team player Inventory control experience a plus Retail experience a plus Physical Demands This job requires the ability to work standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50 + lbs. continuously throughout the day. Work Environment This job can operate in a warehouse, indoor and outdoor retail space, and in an office environment as business requires.
