This role is based at our Bend, Oregon site — a state-of-the-art center of excellence dedicated to R&D manufacturing and testing of oral solid dose (OSD) drug formulations. Our Bend team accelerates pre-clinical drug product development and reduces timelines to GMP production of clinical trial materials. Discover Impactful Work As Senior Manager, Project Management, you will play a critical leadership role in enabling life-changing therapies to reach patients faster. You will lead and scale a high-performing Project Management organization, ensuring outstanding execution of customer programs while serving as a strategic partner to site and division leadership. Reporting directly to the General Manager and serving on the Site Leadership Team (SLT), you will influence operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth across the Bend site portfolio. A Day in the Life You will: Lead all aspects of the Project Management team at the Bend site, including direct supervision of 5–10 Project Managers and Coordinators Establish and maintain project management standards, governance, and processes in alignment with the business unit’s Program Management Office (PMO) Ensure customer programs are executed in compliance with regulatory, quality, and business requirements Serve as a trusted advisor to site and division leadership on project health, escalations, revenue forecasting, and growth opportunities Design and implement the team’s operating cadence, including daily PM huddles, portfolio reviews, and escalation management Drive cross-functional planning and execution through integrated timelines and budgets Partner with Finance to establish and monitor revenue forecasts, milestone completion, and pipeline opportunities Define, analyze, and monitor key execution metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Customer Allegiance Score (CAS), and Cycle Time Proactively identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies, coordinating with S&OP and Value Stream Management (VSM) stakeholders Build strong, collaborative partnerships across functional teams to ensure seamless program delivery Promote a safe, compliant working environment, ensuring adherence to EHS, Quality, and cGMP procedures and SOPs Keys to Success Education Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience required Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of experience in technical project or program management preferred Experience Demonstrated success leading complex development programs Customer-facing experience in the Pharmaceutical or Contract Manufacturing industry strongly preferred Experience building and leading high-performing teams in a matrix environment Strong background in budget management, forecasting, and resource planning Experience developing and implementing project management methodologies, tools, and best practices Experience in regulated industries preferred PMP certification preferred Experience with both PMI and Agile project management approaches Experience leading change initiatives and continuous improvement Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge Deep understanding of project and program management best practices Strong business and strategic acumen Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies beneficial Skills Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and other project management tools Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset Abilities Ability to build consensus across organizational boundaries Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity while driving execution Ability to influence at all levels of the organization Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to travel up to 25% Work is primarily performed in an office and manufacturing environment Excellent Benefits We offer competitive remuneration, an annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a comprehensive total rewards package.
