Account Manager (Distribution)

Location: Vienna, OHPay Rate: $25 - $27 per hour DOESchedule: Monday-Friday 8AM - 5PM on siteLeading metal distribution company located in Vienna, OH is in need of an Account Manager to join the team! This individual will serve as the liaison between the customer and organization and anticipate custom needs, resolving issues and ensuring alignment across scheduling, inventory, pricing, etc.DutiesServe as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring effective communication and issue resolutionManage day-to-day account activities with full ownership and accountabilityAnticipate customer needs and proactively identify solutions related to scheduling, inventory, pricing, and forecastsEvaluate reserved materials and manage replenishment to meet immediate and future customer requirementsMonitor demand changes and implement proactive measures to prevent material shortagesPropose and implement non-critical master data or order detail changes, with appropriate approvalsCollaborate with internal teams (logistics, planning, inventory, technical, pricing) to resolve customer issues quicklyAnalyze activity reports and message queues daily to identify and resolve errors; implement permanent corrective actionsCreate and modify data warehouse reports to support account management and decision-makingMaintain accurate and detailed customer account documentationConduct proactive outreach to support customer relationships and business growth strategiesEnsure compliance with all corporate, quality, and regulatory policiesPerform additional duties and special projects as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years of customer account management experienceExperience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferredStrong computer skillsZing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
