Residential Fiber-Optic Sales Representative

Overview: The Field Sales organization is the driving force behind achieving market penetration objectivesand overall Gross Add goals. In addition, the organization contributes to Surf Internet brand awareness andreinforces our commitment to being local members of the communities we serve.Reports to: MDU and Residential Sales ManagerJob Status: ExemptResponsibilities Expectations:Expected to canvas turf in assigned areas, attend local marketing events with sales opportunities and develop / maintain positive relationships with MDU and HOA management in designated regionsPerformance expectation to achieve / exceed designated quota installed sales per monthOpportunities for promotion when available will be based on:Exceeding average measurable performance goalsDisplaying exceptional customer relationship qualitiesShowing exceptional leadership abilities within the sales team and external departmentsExemplary attendance with motivation to work independentlyWork directly with potential and existing customers to recommend products and services to fit their needsDevelop a rapport with potential and existing customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner to put them at easeFoster a positive and pleasant working relationship with apartment complex and HOA managementFamiliarize yourself with Surf Internet current information about services, products and promotions available to customers as well as our competitionUse the company’s sales portal to create sales orders and schedule installation of servicesQualificationsQualifications:Strong verbal communication skillsWillingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgroundsStrong self-motivation and comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervisionGood sense of organization and keen attention to detailKnowledge of customer service best practices and desire to participate in trainings and professional developmentAbility to perform well in a fast-paced working environmentAvailability to work evenings and weekendsFamiliarity and high comfort level with working from a tablet or cellular deviceCompensationHighly competitive commission only with 90 day paid ramp-up periodExpected annual earnings of 75k with minimum expectations achieved
