Job description:Assistant Project Manager — Commercial HVACAirtech Air Conditioning — Miami, FLSalary: $70,000 – $90,000 + growth path to Project ManagerSUMMARYAirtech is a 50+ year commercial HVAC contractor entering a strategic growth phase.We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 0–5 years of construction experience who wants to grow into a full Project Manager role. This position will work directly alongside senior PMs and ownership, supporting active commercial HVAC projects while developing the skills required to independently manage projects in the future.This role is designed to develop into a full Project Manager position within 12–24 months for high performers. This is a long-term growth opportunity, not just a job.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Senior Project Managers on 5–15 active commercial HVAC projectsAssist with scheduling, coordination, and GC communicationManage submittals and track shop drawingsAssist with procurement and vendor coordinationMonitor budgets, cost tracking, and change ordersTrack labor productivity and material costs to help protect project marginsAssist in reviewing HVAC scopes including ductwork, chilled water piping, DX systems, and equipment submittalsSupport coordination with mechanical subcontractors and field techniciansParticipate in project meetings and site visitsSupport estimating and bid preparation when neededHelp drive projects toward on-time and under-budget completionTake on increasing responsibility over time based on performance and developmentREQUIREMENTS0–5 years construction or trade experience (HVAC required)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredUnderstanding of ductwork, piping, and basic MEP systemsOrganized, detail-oriented, and proactiveStrong communication skillsTech-capable and able to learn platforms such as ProCoreBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFuel cardHealth insuranceOpportunities for advancementPaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In personJ-18808-Ljbffr
