Warehouse Material Handler

About the Role As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a vital role in the seamless flow of goods by managing inventory and operating heavy machinery. You will utilize equipment like reach trucks and RF scanners to ensure that products are accurately stored and prepared for shipment, directly contributing to our facility's operational efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of industrial equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks. Execute the precise loading, unloading, and staging of freight to maintain optimal inventory organization. Pick, assemble, and verify orders for accuracy while performing quality inspections to identify any damage or discrepancies. Utilize RF scanning technology to track inventory movements and ensure data integrity within the warehouse management system. Maintain a high standard of workplace safety by strictly adhering to OSHA guidelines and keeping the facility orderly. Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as battery changes, to ensure continuous operational readiness. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience operating industrial forklifts or similar warehouse machinery. Ability to work in diverse temperature environments, including cold storage facilities. Capacity to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs and working at heights. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise safety and operational protocols. Preferred Skills High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Prior experience in a fast-paced logistics or cold storage environment. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet daily production targets.
