Machine Operator

Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $19.00-$20.90 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm; 3:00pm-1:00am QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in the BRUTS and press area doing bucket checks. Emptying of scrap turnings bins. Removal of parts from machines. Visual inspection of parts. Will learn to use various measuring devices. Will learn to input data into the required SPC system. General cleaning which requires mopping or wiping machines down, will have to work with coolant and oils. Machine Operator Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to lift, twist and bend as required. Must be able to stand in the same area or move around for 10 hours daily. Frequent reaching, lifting and pulling with both hands, must be able to go up stairs with buckets filled with casings. Required to be able to read and write. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to QPS and client screening process. Preferred 1-2 years in an industrial service but will be trained on the job.
