Cabinet Shop Foreman
The Cabinet Shop Foreman is responsible for all day to day operations specific to the shop and will have multiple levels of responsibility. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for building and must be highly skilled in cabinetry fabrication.
Work in conjunction with shop owner for shop capacity and scheduling. Create production schedule to maximize capacity and production turnover.
Delegate production and job components to workers
Keep a current inventory of tools and ensure all tools are in working condition and the workers have what they need to produce timely and efficiently.
Responsible for material and supply inventory-notification to shop owner when materials are running low * Ensure shop is kept clean and organized daily
Skilled in time management and labor management to efficiently direct production.
Direct and supervise shop workers. Provide training as needed.
Must participate in shop production as needed.
It is critical that the Shop Foreman provide daily leadership and support to the team. This position should keep an open line of communication with the workers and the shop owner. Overall responsibility is to maximize shop productivity and keep high-quality standards. We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who can tackle challenges and problem-solving.
Required Skills:
Skilled cabinet maker, 5+ years
Proven leadership ability
Proven understanding of inventory management
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clean driving record
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Pay based on experience.
