Bar Manager

Description: Dawn is looking for an Bar Manager to join our team. Applicants should have at least 3 years of Bartending experience and possess leadership qualities that can be honed and developed to meet the Dawn culture for excellence and innovation. Responsibilities: Assist the Food and Beverage Director with product ordering, scheduling, payroll, and achieving Food, Expense & Labor targets Inspect vendor deliveries to confirm accuracy, sign and file delivery invoices Supervise BOH & FOH staff, oversee proper communication between all staff on the shift Uphold a fun, positive, and efficient environment for staff and our guests Learn and understand how to properly use budgeting tools in google sheets to achieve restaurant goals Support training for new hires Monitor compliance with safety and be a leader for quality and safety Requirements: Experience as a lead bartender or manager or similar role in the Hospitality industry Experience with inventory software Strong math and reporting skills Ability to learn, understand and follow budgeting tools through Google Sheets, and Connecteam Strong teamwork and leadership skills Availability to work through our operating hours (including weekends, holidays, etc) Great communication and team management abilities Ability to monitor staff, ensure company policies and standards are upheld Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance REQUIREMENTS Color Hospitality Group is a dynamic and growing hospitality company that operates Dawn AM Eatery and 14 Parish Restaurant & Rhum Bar in Chicago.
