Swiss CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift
Connecta Corporation has been a leading provider of Swiss CNC Precision Turned Parts for the Aerospace industry since 1987. Since our ownership change, we are expanding and looking for CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists to join our growing team.

This position requires an understanding of operating CNC machines, particularly CNC Swiss Lathes. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Setup and Programming knowledge is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate Citizen Swiss Lathes (Models: L12, L20, M32) to produce accurate parts.
Inspect production parts as required using calipers, gages, optical comparators, inspection systems, and micrometers to ensure accuracy.
Maintain quality and achieve daily productivity goals.
Change tools and touch off as necessary.
Read and follow Routing Instructions, inspection reports, blue prints, specifications, and quality control plans to produce finished parts.
Safely operate Bench top lathes and general shop equipment including saws, belt sanders, grinding and buffing wheels as needed.
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of CNC Machines and precision level machining
Swiss Lathe experience (preferred)
Knowledge of multi axis Swiss Machines (preferred)
Ability to change tools and touch off
Ability to make off sets
Can perform basic preventative maintenance
Accurately read drawings and blueprints. Proficient understanding of GD&T
Attention to Detail and sense of urgency.
Proficiency in using a variety of inspection tools and measuring devices including calipers, gages, and micrometers.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be self motivated to meet goals
General knowledge of Machine Tooling
Experience:
CNC Lathe – Operate (1+ years, Swiss preferred)
Manufacturing experience (2+ years)
Mitsubishi controls and G & M code (preferred)

5 days per week
