Civil Litigation Paralegal

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Paralegal to provide dedicated support to a team of Litigation and Labor & Employment attorneys in a dynamic legal environment within the Western U.S. region. This role is critical to the success of the legal team, offering hands-on involvement in litigation matters, case management, and trial preparation. Key responsibilities include document preparation, electronic filing, and legal research. This is a full-time hybrid position offering opportunities to grow within a supportive legal team.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide case support through document management, preparation of exhibits, and coordination of deposition and hearing materialsDraft motions, discovery responses, client correspondence, and form documents such as ADR Stipulations and Rule 26(f) reportsConduct legal and factual research to assist with investigations and discoveryManage electronic court filings, especially for California-based filings, serving as a subject matter resourceTrack and record billable time promptly and accurately for self and assigned attorneysGather, organize, and review case materials, including records and chronologiesMinimum Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate requiredMinimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government legal officePrior experience supporting litigation and/or labor & employment matters preferredSpecial Requirements Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency in electronic court filing systems, particularly for California jurisdictionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail with strong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis or Westlaw)Additional Desired CharacteristicsExposure to federal and state court proceduresExperience preparing chronologies and reviewing medical or business recordsDemonstrated initiative and a willingness to grow within the legal professionWork EnvironmentHybrid work environment (onsite and remote) within the Western U.S.May require occasional travel for depositions or hearingsStandard business hours with flexibility depending on case deadlines
