Dental Hygienist

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent oral healthcare to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and other professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care.Responsibilities:-Assist doctor in new patient exams and evaluation as well as recall appointments; explain clinical findings and proposed treatment to patients.-Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, periodontal maintenance and basic prophys. Administer anesthesia as needed.-Follow appropriate infection control procedures. Sterilization, disinfection, barriers, personal protection equipment.-Take digital X-rays, FMX, panoramic, "bitewing".-Utilize intraoral camera for documentation and patient education.-Conduct oral cancer screenings.-Educate patients on proper oral care instructions.-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems, and appropriate templates on Dentrix.-Collaborate with dental team to create treatment plans for patients. Code and enter procedures into treatment plan.-Maintain recall system, schedule appointments, contact patients to confirm appointments.-Maintain and sterilize and hygiene instruments and hygiene operatory..-Experience with Dentrix dental software or willing and able to learn.We offer competitive compensation.Office hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
