Role : Java Backend DeveloperLocation: Richardson, TX Job SummaryWe are seeking a Java Backend Developer with Strong hands-on experience building scalable, enterprise-grade backend applications. This is a coding-intensive role requiring strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL, Messaging, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate should have proven experience developing backend features, troubleshooting production issues, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.Required SkillsStrong hands-on Java backend development experience.Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17), including Collections, Streams, Generics, Exception Handling, JVM, Memory Management, and Design Patterns.Solid experience with Java Concurrency & Multithreading, including Threads, Runnable, Callable, Executor Framework, CompletableFuture, Synchronization, Locks, Concurrent Collections, Thread Pools, Atomic Classes, and Parallel Streams.Strong hands-on experience with the Spring Ecosystem: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Dependency Injection, Spring Actuator, and REST API development.Experience designing and developing Microservices, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.Strong SQL and database experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and transaction management.Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or JMS.Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.Experience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and API testing.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and production support experience in Agile environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Build new backend features, enhance existing functionality, and optimize application performance.Develop and integrate REST APIs, messaging solutions, and database components.Implement asynchronous and concurrent processing using Java concurrency frameworks.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
