Sr IAM Engineer
Overview:
In this role you design and implement AWS IAM and AWS Identity Center configurations to establish secure access controls. You will configure SailPoint IdentityNow integrations and develop identity lifecycle workflows, enabling automated provisioning and deprovisioning. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, compliant identity management frameworks and support multi-account AWS environments with landing zones and SCPs. This is a fully remote contract opportunity focused on cutting-edge cloud security initiatives, with potential for extension. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS IAM and AWS Identity Center (AWS SSO) configurations to enforce secure access control
- Configure and troubleshoot SailPoint IdentityNow integrations with AWS and other identity governance solutions
- Develop and manage identity lifecycle workflows including automated provisioning and deprovisioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish scalable, compliant identity management frameworks
- Support setup of multi-account AWS environments, including landing zones and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
Key requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS IAM, AWS Identity Center (AWS SSO), and AWS identity architecture
- Proven expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow configuration, administration, and connector setup
- Strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and cloud security best practices
- Ability to work independently in a consulting environment to establish a secure AWS identity foundation
