We specialize in DevSecOps, infrastructure services, secure system integration, enterprise operations, and lifecycle IT management that drive mission success.Position OverviewTechSur Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer (Junior–Mid Level) to support the FAA’s Corporate Work Plan (CWP) and ABP-330 systems. This role is ideal for early-career engineers with foundational experience in automation, system administration, secure software delivery, and backend development.The engineer will contribute to pipeline automation, environment configuration, application deployments, backend code enhancements, and troubleshooting activities. The role includes working with Linux environments, Oracle systems, COTS products, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure components within a structured federal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSystems AdministrationSupport installation, configuration, patching, and monitoring of application middleware components.Perform routine system health checks, log reviews, and troubleshooting of backend services.Work within Oracle-based ecosystems, including WebLogic services, other COTS products and FAA enterprise platforms.Backend EngineeringAssist with environment-to-environment code migrations and configuration updates.Operations, Testing & MaintenanceCreate and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, deployment guides, system configuration notes, and operational runbooks.Contribute to modernization efforts including refactoring, performance tuning, and environment stabilization.DevSecOps & AutomationSupport CI/CD pipeline activities including build automation, deployment scripting, and code promotion across FAA environments.Manage version control, branching, tagging, and release coordination using Git-based workflows.Assist in implementing security best practices (static code scans, dependency checks, configuration hardening).Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and environment support.Understanding DevSecOps concepts including secure configuration management, automated builds, and code scanning.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).Ability to follow structured technical procedures, document processes, and work within regulated environments.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)Experience with Oracle Middleware, or willingness to learn.Experience with automated testing tools or scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, or ITIL-based change management.Experience working in federal or other highly regulated IT environments.Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.Bachelor’s degree + 4 years relevant experience OR Master’s degree + 2 years relevant experience.
