Advanced LPN | Licensed Practical Nurse | Clinic Care

Join a dedicated healthcare team in a regional medical clinic serving the Midwest community. This role supports physicians and mid-level providers by delivering patient assessments, treatments, testing, and education in a fast-paced outpatient setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAdhere to clinic policies ensuring patient safety, including infection control and safe patient handling.Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes as prescribed.Assist providers during procedures, maintain sterile fields, and manage instrument trays.Support examinations within the scope of licensure and perform phone triage.Serve as a liaison between patients and providers, including communicating test results and answering patient inquiries.Document patient complaints and visit details accurately according to provider preferences.Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs and measurements.Manage and update patient medication lists and summaries.Perform point-of-care lab testing and collect specimens as ordered.Educate patients on electronic health record tools and provide supportive teaching.Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including obtaining necessary authorizations.Train new LPNs and medical assistants in clinic protocols.Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and maintain punctuality and attendance standards.EducationGraduation from an accredited LPN program and completion of an approved IV therapy course.ExperiencePrevious nursing or healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.Certifications and LicensesCurrent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.Physical and Mental RequirementsThis position requires significant mental focus and physical activity including lifting up to 35 pounds, frequent walking, standing, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching.Working Conditions
