Microsoft D365 Developer

Remote | Up to 10% travel | Full-time or contractHAWK is seeking a Microsoft D365 Developer to expand and support an existing warehouse management solution for a federal customer. This role combines hands-on X++ development with an understanding of logistics operations and the reliability required of mission-critical systems.About HAWKHAWK is a technology company helping federal agencies modernize systems, streamline operations, and improve service delivery. The work directly supports public sector missions.What you’ll doDevelop, enhance, test, and maintain customizations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations using X++.Expand D365 warehouse workflows across receiving, inventory control, picking, shipping, and asset accountability.Support integrations that connect warehouse processes and data with other systems.Work with operational users and technical teams to understand requirements, resolve issues, and deliver practical improvements.Use Microsoft SQL and Azure Government to support development, data needs, and troubleshooting.Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.Document designs, changes, and support procedures in line with project security and operational requirements.Help keep the solution reliable, maintainable, and effective as customer needs evolve.Required qualifications3+ years of relevant software development experience.Hands-on X++ development experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.Experience with D365 warehouse management workflows.Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Azure.Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of starting.Ability to travel up to 10%.Preferred qualificationsAn active Secret clearance.CompTIA Security+ certification already in hand.Experience supporting federal customers or defense logistics operations.Experience with Azure Government.Java or Python development experience.We are open to full-time and contract candidates.
