We are looking for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and technical excellence.Position SummaryThe DDC Systems Programmer is responsible for programming, commissioning, configuring, and troubleshooting Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC) for HVAC and mechanical control applications. This role works closely with project managers, field technicians, subcontractors, and customers to ensure systems operate according to project specifications and sequence of operations.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProgram and configure DDC/BAS control systems for HVAC equipment and building systemsDevelop and integrate BAS graphics, animations, trends, alarms, and user interfacesConfigure controllers, field devices, and network communicationsPerform system startup, checkout, commissioning, and troubleshootingCoordinate IP communications setup and integrationInterpret mechanical, electrical, and MEP drawings and specificationsRed-line drawings and assist with as-built documentationAssist with test and balance activities to ensure system performanceCollaborate with project management, subcontractors, engineers, and sales teams throughout project executionProvide training and technical support to customers and internal personnelMaintain professional representation of the Enviromatic Systems brand and reputationEnsure customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality work and responsive serviceSupport field technicians and service personnel as neededQualifications & RequirementsExperience programming and commissioning DDC/BAS systemsStrong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, electrical systems, and mechanical operationsAbility to read and interpret MEP plans, wiring diagrams, and control schematicsExperience with BAS graphics and user interface development preferredKnowledge of IP networking and communication protocolsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyTeam-oriented mindset with a strong customer service attitudeProficient with computers, software applications, and technical documentationValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordPreferred ExperienceExperience with commercial Building Automation SystemsFamiliarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other BAS communication protocolsPrevious field commissioning experienceExposure to graphics creation and system integration platformsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesCompany vehicle and gas cardCompany cell phone and laptopHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceBasic Life Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysWork LocationNashville, TNEqual Opportunity EmployerEnviromatic Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a diverse workforce committed to teamwork, innovation, and customer success.
