Pompano Youth Treatment Center Pompano Youth Treatment Center is a Residential Facility for males ages 13-19. Our youths are committed by a judge throughout the state of Florida to stay in our Substance Abuse Overlay Services program for a period of 3-9 months. Sequel operates the program for the Department of Juvenile Justice, a non-secure facility. Our program exercise a behavior management system and provides Substance Treatment, Mental Health Counseling, Individual and Family Therapy. Our purpose is to provide interest of the youth to help frame their current strengths and attributes in a tone supportive of their employability. We are looking for qualified Youth Care Counselor to help guide our future men back into the community. Position Overview: The cook is responsible for preparing meals and serving meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner for up to 24 students. The cook will prepare meals according to posted menus. Summary of Duties: Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner for students. Also responsible for keeping general kitchen area and appliances clean, and in order, which includes: sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning the storage room and other equipment and washing dishes. Assists with food orders. Assist with food truck deliveries and storing items properly. Recordkeeping of supplies, food portions and all associated paperwork. Performs related duties as assigned.
