Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Lateral Partner to join our Washington D.C. office. This role is suited for a seasoned attorney who is deeply committed to the field of federal Indian law and looks to make a significant impact within the firm and the broader community we serve. A book of business that complements our existing practice areas, further strengthening our ability to serve our tribal clients effectively is ideal but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal services in various aspects of tribal law, including but not limited to federal lobbying, tribal governance, economic development, litigation, natural resources, and cultural resource protection.
Lead complex legal projects and provide strategic advice to tribal governments and their enterprises.
Collaborate with other partners to drive the firm’s growth and maintain its commitment to excellence in client service.
Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership on tribal law through publications, seminars, and speaking engagements.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the District of Columbia bar.
Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, primarily in tribal law or closely related fields.
Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Pay: $155,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
