Account Manager - SalesOur client has been locally producing custom-manufactured, rubber and thermoplastic products such as architectural and automotive seals, cable jacketing, across multiple industries. SUMMARY Our client is looking for a professional skilled in customer, vendor, and internal relations who will create and maintain bids/quotes for complex projects. Successful candidates will enjoy a professional work environment with significant opportunities for growth and career development. SCHEDULE: Full-time, Day. Hours will need to be flexible based on business needs. TRAVEL: Approx 25% of the time. SALARY: Well-qualified candidates will be offered up to $70,000 base pay BENEFITS: Commissions, Health Insurance +, and Profit Sharing/Bonus structure. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain account base and grow business through best practice sales techniques such as in-person, social media, and internet communication. Harvest new business/accounts via inbound and outbound sales and marketing Work with management to develop sales plans & forecast sales for the territory or responsible customers Utilize knowledge of available materials & processes to ascertain performance and ability to produce a potential proposal Able to retrieve or provide pricing information & report sales performance, then report performance & projections to the Director. Produce formal quotes, re-quotes & worksheets, then document and review finished contracts. Use knowledge of tooling resources & buy-out of service vendors & products. May assist with R&D/New Projects to keep products fresh and up to customer standards Maintain organization to ensure accuracy of communications & instructions Use CRM software, MS Office Suite, and quote programs to maintain, extract, and document information. Understand safety rules, quality policies, and procedures Research, retrieve, and understand specifications of products. Process and ensure drawing control Use GD&T principles, part prints, and quality specs for non-conforming products to give accurate quotes and production times. Use knowledge of SolidWorks/CAD systems and process principles to promote products and coordinate with the production team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of recent working Sales experience in a corporate or structured business environment. Minimum 1 year of working experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree highly preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, CRM, and quote programs.Valid driver's license and a good driving record & be able to travel 25% of work schedule Understand basic engineering practices Required to read and understand technical documents related to sales contracts.
