Assisting with the management, coordination, and execution of maintenance and capital related activities and projects within a team of multi-family residential properties. RESPONSIBILITIES : (including, but not limited to) Assist in the management, response, correction, and reporting for urgent/emergencies situations Perform, manage, and inspect projects and tasks as assigned Document and report project and task status Implement training as part of projects and tasks Assist with scope evaluation and contract oversight When required and directed, assist property operations with day-to-day maintenance/ management responsibilities Assist policy/procedure compliance Make cost and time saving recommendations for project and operations throughout portfolio Assist and train on-site maintenance teams Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, and in a timely manner. Maintains current knowledge in the field of facilities maintenance Qualifications Previous experience that includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and capital project management. Multi-Family Residential property experience required. Current, Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance – driving record must meet eligibility requirements. Universal certification is required. Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with the residents and community staff. Analytical ability, problem solving and organization skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to meet deadlines and must be available on an as-needed basis for after hours and on-call emergency services.
