Base plus Commision salaryCompany Car/Car AllowanceExtensive benefits packageArea Sales ManagerOur client is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across a defined territory. This is a technical B2B sales role focused on selling advanced machine tool solutions and supporting customers with innovative manufacturing equipment aligned to their operational requirements.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, identifying sales opportunities, and working closely with internal engineering and applications teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.This is a high-travel role suited to someone who is commercially driven, technically credible, and confident engaging with manufacturing customers on the shop floor and at decision-maker level.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customersPromote and sell capital equipment and machine tool solutions into manufacturing environmentsProvide technical sales support and consult with customers on equipment needsWork closely with Applications Engineers and internal technical teams to recommend suitable solutionsDevelop, present, and respond to proposals based on customer requirementsVisit customer sites regularly to review sales opportunities and resolve technical or service-related issuesCreate territory plans and deliver weekly reporting on activity and pipelineSubmit expenses in line with company policySupport demonstrations in partnership with engineering teamsDevelop strategic and tactical plans to achieve annual sales targetsTravel extensively throughout the territory and internationally when requiredRequirementsBachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline preferred3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business developmentExperience selling into industrial or manufacturing environments preferredStrong relationship-building and customer-facing skillsAbility to understand technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutionsComfortable with extensive travelStrong planning, reporting, and territory management skillsAdditional InformationHigh travel role, approximately 80%International travel may be requiredExposure to both office and manufacturing environments
