Job Description OverviewWe are seeking an IT Support Specialist (Desktop Support) to join our on‑site IT team in Temple, TX. This role is focused on providing hands‑on desktop support and fast incident response for employees at our Temple office, while also delivering remote IT support to users at other locations.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who enjoys helping people, troubleshooting technical issues, and working in a collaborative, in‑office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day‑to‑day desktop and end‑user support for on‑site employees in Temple, TXRespond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests via ticketing system, phone, and in personDeliver remote technical support to employees at other company locationsTroubleshoot and support:Windows PCs and laptopsDesktop and laptop hardwarePrinters and peripheralsMobile devices (cell phones)Assist with user account tasks such as password resets and basic access issuesSet up, image, and deploy new laptops and desktops for new hires and replacementsEscalate complex issues to senior IT staff or other teams as appropriateDocument resolutions and procedures to help improve team knowledge and support efficiencyMaintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when supporting usersRequired QualificationsBasic experience supporting Windows‑based PCs and laptops (professional, academic, or home lab experience acceptable)Familiarity with common IT hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices)Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skillsGood communication skills and a customer‑service mindsetAbility to work on‑site in the Temple, TX office during standard business hoursWillingness to learn and grow in an IT support rolePreferred / Bonus QualificationsExposure to or basic knowledge of Windows Active Directory (user accounts, password resets, group membership)Experience with ticketing systems or IT service management toolsPrior help desk or desktop support experience (internships count)Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, VPN, connectivity issues)Benefits:Competitive pay based on experience and relevant qualificationsOpportunities for professional development and growth within the companyPaid Time OffExtensive Medical insurance options2 Dental insurance optionsVision insuranceNo cost Short-Term DisabilityLow cost Long-Term DisabilityNo cost Basic Life and AD&DTax-advantaged health and dependent care expenseRetirement Planand more!About us:At Tri-Supply, we've been a trusted name in the building industry since 1958.
