You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeIn this exciting new role, the Sr. Salesforce.com Administrator will be responsible for gathering requirements and designing, configuring and supporting solutions within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform. The Sr. Administrator will partner with commercial, sales enablement, Global regions, IT and corporate stakeholders to build and support solutions, content, tools and processes that deliver field-facing SFDC solutions. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Salesforce.com configuration experience with a track record of developing solutions within a complex matrix organization. Salesforce.com Administrator Certification is strongly preferred. Additional experience with Lightning UI, Conga, PowerBI, and SAP ERP systems is preferred.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Plan, develop, and configure new functionality to support existing field users’ ongoing adoption of SFDC. This may include updating or creating objects, fields and field values, page layouts, actions, process builder, custom reports, dashboards, user roles & profiles, data sets, and more.In preparation for each new group of field users that begin using SFDC, work with business/product owners to design, configure, and test all components required to support the new group (examples include but not limited to: app and object configuration, mobile configuration, data sets, account/contact views, profiles and role hierarchy).Maintain a detailed understanding of the overall SFDC application architecture, release processes, data models and sources, and integrated applications.Participate in the feasibility review & impact assessment of enhancement requests submitted by field employees.Participate in design/architecture reviews to ensure that changes to the system are consistent with field user expectations and limit undesired impacts.Lead the effort to test new functionality in each release to ensure that compatibility with current business processes is maintained.Provide training and on-boarding to new users, as needed.Ensure that SFDC and the information on it is in accordance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards, best Information Protection practices, and adheres to any governance set out for the platform.Other duties and special projects as assignedSPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. PR) locations (USD):$86,000 - $129,000The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
