Construction Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to lead conference room construction, renovation, and AV integration projects. This role focuses on managing the full construction lifecycle while ensuring AV technology is successfully integrated into new builds and refreshes across multiple buildings. This role combines facilities, construction, and technical project management.ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project DeliveryManage AV engineering, design, construction, and renovation projects.Oversee conference room refreshes, rebuilds, and new room designs.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.Construction & Vendor CoordinationWork closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.Schedule and manage remote contractors for site surveys and installs.Oversee equipment and material ordering within budget.Lead project kickoff meetings with internal and external teams.Risk, Governance & ReportingMonitor project risks, compliance, and contractual obligations.Interpret drawings, work orders, and construction documentation.Provide regular status updates and escalate risks as needed.Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.Resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional collaboration.Partner with technology teams to plan and execute solutions.Triage and resolve conference room and AV-related issues.Required Experience8+ years managing AV, renovation, or construction projects.15+ years of overall Program/Project Management experience (facilities preferred).Experience integrating technology into commercial construction.Strong knowledge of construction processes, permitting, and timelines.Experience managing vendors and remote contractors.Background working with conference rooms and AV systems.Technical project management experience in the tech industry.Preferred SkillsExperience working in Agile environments (3+ years).Familiarity with JIRA (nice to have).Knowledge of AV hardware, installation, and maintenance practices.
