Regional Project Engineer

Job Overview:Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking Regional Project Engineer to support customer projects in Florida.Project Engineers work closely with Field Application Engineers to create proposals, design material handling systems and manage projects. Project Engineers at Toyota Automated Logistics are given a high level of responsibility and autonomy to make decisions. This role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing material handling field including robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGV's, and more. If you are looking for a challenging career in a field that will never stop evolving, we want to talk to you!Travel Requirements:25-30% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)Must maintain a valid drivers licenseJob Functions:Time will be spent in system design, site supervision, troubleshooting and project management.Maintain budget, schedule, and implementation plan of projectsAssist with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, spare parts orders, and other general design responsibilitiesImprove project execution processes (Gantts, continuous improvement)Timely resolution of issues and customer satisfaction with SupportAssist with site installation to include material inventory, schedule tracking, and supervising subcontractorsWork directly with Field Application Engineers to ensure a smooth transition of projectsDevelop in depth understanding of all facets of material handling to include equipment, suppliers, and applicationsInform all stakeholders and subcontractors of any project/schedule changesProvide Customer support for ongoing and warranty projectsPreferred Skills and Required Qualifications:Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Mechanical, Industrial, Systems disciplines preferred.3-5 years' experience; automated material handling sector preferredExperience with AutoCAD or similar softwareExperience interacting with customers, external contractorsProject tracking (MS Project or similar software is a strong plus)Demonstrated leadership skillsExcellent technical problem-solving capability (hardware, controls)Strong scheduling and organizational skillsWilling and transparent communicatorTeam player, customer-focused mindsetEmployees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.About Toyota Automated Logistics:Toyota Automated Logistics is your global partner for integrated warehouse automation.
