As an Evening Cook /Dietary Aide you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of meal quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail‐oriented individual to join our evening shift and support our dietary team in delivering nutritious and appealing meals.As a Dietary Cook, Your Key Responsibilities:Prepare meals according to standardized recipes, dietary orders, and resident preferences.Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines and special diet requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.Follow all food safety, storage, and handling procedures.Communicate effectively with Dietary Aides and other team members to ensure meal service runs smoothly.Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and end‐of‐shift kitchen duties as assigned.Required Skills & KnowledgeFood Safety Knowledge: Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices.Meal Preparation Skills: Ability to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and special needs.Sanitation & Hygiene: Knowledge of kitchen sanitation standards and cleaning procedures.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and interact respectfully with residents when needed.Experience RequirementsA minimum of six months of experience working in a nursing home kitchen or a similar food‐service environment is preferred.
