Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions supporting mission-critical applications. Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis to ensure system stability. Collaborate within an Agile team to research, test, build, and integrate new capabilities based on customer and program requirements. Develop new software products and major enhancements, ensuring usability, scalability, and performance across multiple platforms. Address system integration and compatibility challenges across diverse environments. Evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of application software packages, integration tools, and testing technologies. Provide expertise for new development initiatives, including implementation and technical support activities. Respond to technical inquiries, resolve issues, and perform non-programming troubleshooting as needed. Estimate Level of Effort (LOE) for development tasks, contributing to effective sprint planning and delivery. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience developing against relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) with strong SQL skills. Minimum 1 year of experience building web services. Minimum 1 year writing automated unit tests. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective team collaborator with the ability to mentor junior developers. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience supporting Java applications and frameworks (e.g., Spring). At least 2 years of Angular development experience (Version 8+). At least 2 years working in Agile teams using Jira or similar tools. At least 1 year working in an automated CI/CD environment (Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube). Desired Skills Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments such as AWS. Experience with Ruby on Rails. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with JMS technologies (IBM MQ, ActiveMQ).
