This role plays a critical part in driving throughput, reducing cost, and enhancing operational performance through data-driven analysis, Lean methodologies, and advanced process modeling.You will partner closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to design scalable solutions across manufacturing and distribution environments.What You’ll DoProcess Design & OptimizationAnalyze and improve end-to-end workflows across manufacturing and warehouse operationsConduct time studies and labor modeling to establish accurate standards and drive productivity gainsCapacity Planning & Cost ModelingDevelop capacity plans, labor models, and cost estimates to support quoting and operational planningIdentify constraints and recommend scalable solutions to increase throughputSimulation & Data AnalysisModel processes and workflows using tools such as REFA, MOST, WITNESS, or similar simulation softwareAnalyze production data, takt time, cycle time, and utilization metrics to drive decisionsNew Product Introduction (NPI) SupportLead process planning and line setup for new programsValidate processes during prototyping and pilot runs, and implement improvementsFacility Layout & Flow OptimizationDesign and optimize layouts using AutoCAD to improve material flow, safety (egress, red zones), and space utilizationSupport warehouse design including SKU flow, FIFO methodology, and inventory stagingContinuous Improvement & Lean InitiativesLead Kaizen events, Lean initiatives, and Six Sigma projects focused on cost reduction and performance improvementDrive initiatives in automation, labor efficiency, and waste eliminationCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with operations, finance, and leadership to implement process improvementsPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders up to executive levelRequired QualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field2+ years of experience in industrial/process engineering within:Manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments (highly preferred)Strong experience with:Time studies, labor standards, and capacity analysisFIFO inventory flow, SKU management, and inbound logisticsCost modeling and labor cost optimizationProficiency in AutoCAD for facility layout and workflow designKnowledge of safety standards (egress, red zones, etc.)Proven ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma)Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience in large-scale manufacturing or 3PL/logistics environmentsExposure to automation and warehouse systems (WMS, material handling systems, etc.)Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above)Experience supporting NPI or startup operationsSelling Points About This Role (Candidate-Facing Value Prop)High-impact role driving end-to-end operational efficiencyExposure to both manufacturing and warehouse/logistics operationsOpportunity to lead automation and continuous improvement initiativesStrong visibility with leadership and cross-functional teamsJT05AA01 MS14 CC11 SD20SiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
