Lead Electrical Designer - Advanced Power Generation (APG)This opportunity supports a large, well-established EPC firm within the Power Providers Market Sector, focused on Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects that deliver critical energy infrastructure.Role OverviewCollaborate with multidisciplinary project teams supporting APG facilitiesContribute to power systems design, including electrical infrastructure supporting generation assetsPlay a key role in developing high-quality 2D and 3D engineering deliverablesTechnical FocusElectrical design scope includes:Duct bank designCable tray designGrounding systemsLighting and other supporting electrical systemsCreate and modify design drawings using Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley toolsAGI32 experience preferred for lighting design and illumination calculationsApply advanced electrical engineering principles under minimal supervisionMaintain strong awareness of project budgets and schedulesLead & Design ResponsibilitiesFunction as a lead technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisorApply advanced expertise to solve complex design challengesEnsure technical quality, schedule adherence, and budget complianceEstablish, communicate, and enforce design and graphic standardsReview project requirements, design inputs, and deliverables for consistency and complianceCoordinate and integrate design efforts across disciplinesGuide and mentor engineering technicians and support staff as applicableQualificationsAssociate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design-related technology (required)Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Design-related technology (preferred)Typically 10+ years of relevant industry experiencePower generation design experience requiredAbility to complete standard pre-employment onboarding requirementsCulture & Team EnvironmentThe team values collaboration, technical excellence, and shared accountability.
