ResponsibilitiesNetwork Engineering & OperationsDesign, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environmentsAdminister and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNsTroubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issuesImplement and maintain network security controls, including firewall rules and segmentationSupport network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and site deploymentsMaintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standardsMonitor network performance, availability, and capacityProject Management & Coordination Skill SetCoordinate project activities, timelines, and deliverables across technical and business teamsTrack project milestones, risks, dependencies, and status updates to support successful executionFacilitate cross-functional communication, meeting coordination, and follow-up on action itemsSupport change management, documentation, and stakeholder reporting throughout project lifecyclesDemonstrate strong organizational skills, prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiativesService Leadership & Offshore CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for network servicesCoordinate daily operational activities with an offshore support teamProvide technical guidance, prioritization, and oversight for offshore-handled incidents and requestsReview and validate work completed by offshore resources to ensure quality and adherence to standardsHandle escalations from offshore teams and provide resolution directionEnsure incidents, requests, and changes meet defined SLAs and operational expectationsAssist in developing and refining runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles for offshore executionParticipate in service reviews, incident post-mortems, and continuous improvement initiativesMonitoring, Reliability & Incident ManagementMonitor network and infrastructure health using enterprise monitoring toolsLead or support incident response efforts for network-related outagesPerform root-cause analysis and contribute to corrective action plansAssist with disaster recovery planning and testing for network services • Participate in an on-call rotation as requiredServer & Core Infrastructure SupportAssist with administration of Active Directory, including:DNSDHCPGroup PolicyCloud & Hybrid ConnectivitySupport network connectivity for cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWSAssist with hybrid networking (site-to-site VPNs, routing, firewall integration)Troubleshoot cloud and on-prem connectivity issues impacting applications and usersLicenses/ CertificationsCCNA, Network+, preferredMicrosoft or Linux fundamentals certifications preferredEntry-level cloud certifications (e.g., AZ-104) preferredAdd clear RACI boundaries between onshore and offshore teams preferredAlign it to job grades or compensation bands preferredCreate a Senior Service Lead version for future growth preferredQualifications/ RequirementsAssociate's degree with IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other STEM related subjects, either directly or indirectlyMinimum 5 years' experience as network engineering resource with recent hands-on experienceStrong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VLANsHands-on experience with enterprise networking equipmentExperience supporting firewalls, VPNs, and network security fundamentalsWorking knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environmentsFamiliarity with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCPExperience supporting virtualized infrastructureProven troubleshooting and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, especially in cross-team and offshore collaborationAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple concurrent issuesRobert Half is committed to being an equal employment employer offering opportunities to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
