Fire Sprinkler Service & Inspection Technician

Overview
ESI is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Fire Sprinkler Service & Inspection Technician to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate has experience with wet, dry, preaction, deluge systems and is motivated to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
· Perform fire sprinkler inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA codes and local regulations, including but not limited to fire pump testing, standpipe testing, 5 year internal inspection, and hydrostatic test.
· Should be familiar with diagnosing issues with fire pumps, jockey pumps, air compressors and dry valve issues.
· Complete accurate documentation and inspection reports using company software.
· Communicate inspection findings clearly with customers and recommend corrective actions or service needs.
· Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on systems when appropriate.
· Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and professionalism at all job sites.
· Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
· 1–3 years of experience in life safety system inspection or related field.
· Sprinkler Journeyman License in MA and/or RI
· Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
· NICET Level I or II in Fire Alarm or Sprinkler Systems is a plus.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate with clients.
· Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and inspection software.
· Basic understanding of fire alarm panels is a plus
