This role requires the ability to operate independently in senior-level forums and represent Air Reserve Component (ARC) equities in joint and multi-domain environments.Role and Responsibilities include:Command and Control OptimizationServe as the representative on the customer team, composed primarily of senior leaders (O-6 level and above)Provide analytical and operational expertise to assess, modernize, and improve C2 frameworks, decision-making processes, and operational integration across the enterpriseDeliver data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance readiness, responsiveness, and multi-domain synchronizationSenior-Level Advisory & RepresentationAct as the primary advisor for Command and Control within cross-functional and joint planning effortsRepresent ARC perspectives in high-level strategic discussions, ensuring Reserve Component capabilities, limitations, and integration requirements are fully incorporated into future force design and operational conceptsInterface with senior military leaders, government civilians, and industry partners to align C2 modernization efforts with mission needsWeapons and Tactics Development SupportServe as the sole ARC C2 advisor to the Weapons and Tactics Conference (WEPTAC) Mission Area Working GroupContribute to the development and refinement of advanced warfighter tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) across the Department of DefenseFacilitate the integration of ARC capabilities into evolving multi-domain operational concepts, ensuring relevance in future conflictsSupport collaboration across mission areas to drive innovation in operational concepts, integration strategies, and tactical employmentRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree and fifteen (15) years or more of related experienceDemonstrated experience in Command and Control (C2) operations, planning, or optimizationProven ability to operate effectively in senior-level environments (O-6 and above)Strong understanding of Air Force / Space Force organizational structures, especially the Air Reserve ComponentExperience supporting weapons school, orbital warfare, tactics development, or operational planning forumsExcellent communication and briefing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendationsActive TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI is required, along with SCI eligibility and participation in Continuous EvaluationMust meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access and be willing to undergo a polygraph examinationTravel is 10%Preferred Qualifications:Background in multi-domain operations (MDO) or joint all-domain command and control (JADC2)Prior involvement in WEPTAC, tactics conferences, or doctrine developmentFamiliarity with Space Force missions, systems, or operational environmentsExperience supporting high-visibility, strategic-level initiativesWe also offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.Space Systems Integration provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.#ssi #weknowhowtobuildit #spacejobsTarget salary range: $170,000 - $195,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range and bonus potential for this position based on experience and other factors. We offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
