Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology / Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join an inpatient unit caring for oncology and general medical patients. This role involves administering treatments, supporting patients through complex conditions, and delivering high-quality bedside care. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in oncology and medical-surgical settings Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects Manage IV therapy, central lines, and ports Administer blood and blood products Monitor patient conditions and report changes Provide patient and family education and emotional support Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care Active RN License (IL) Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg and/or Oncology experience BLS Certification (Required) Oncology experience preferred (Chemo certification preferred but not required) Experience with IV therapy, infusions, and patient care About Prime Staffing At Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
