Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Full-time/Part-time)Pay Range: $60 - 70/hr (Depends on experience) ***NEW GRADS are welcome to apply***Duration: ASAP to 06/17/26 (Possible extension)Schedule: Full-time or Part-time options availableLocation: Kent, WASummary : Occupational therapists in the educational setting provide specially designed instruction and related services. The occupational therapist collaborates with families and educational team members to develop appropriate education programs and advises on health-related concerns as they impact education for students with special needs. The program goal is to help students function as independently as possible within the least restrictive environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluates student occupational profile, the classroom/school environment, and sensory and motor performance deficits that interfere with student development, learning, and access to education.Synthesizes evaluation results into a comprehensive written report that reflects strengths and barriers to student participation in the educational environment and identifies the need for occupational therapy servicesDevelops and implements occupational therapy intervention plans that include a variety of service delivery models: direct service, collaboration or shared goals/objectives with classroom staff, and consultation/problem -solving.Coordinates services with the IEP team, including the parentAdapts and modifies the environment, including assistive technology and trainingSupervises certified occupational therapy assistants in the implementation of occupational therapy servicesIn-service to classroom teachers and paraprofessionals to embed intervention techniques in the classroom and support generalization of student skills.Required Qualifications:Degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)Active Washington State Occupational Therapy License
